2nd Story Associates was born out of recognition of the growing need for quality affordable housing and supportive services in Santa Barbara. 2nd Story collaborates to create affordable housing in the Santa Barbara community. These developments seek to enhance the quality of life of low-income families, seniors and disabled individuals with an emphasis on promoting stability and self-sufficiency.

Together with you, we are helping families and vulnerable members of our community connect with critical resources that will enable them to experience safety, stability, and a good quality of life.

Resident lives are transformed by the support and stability of affordable housing and related services. We are proud of our efforts to strengthen our community and are grateful for many new opportunities on the horizon.

3055 De La Vina Adopt-A-Home

The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara is looking for donations and support from the Santa Barbara community to help furnish 31 newly renovated studios at 3055 De La Vina Street. This development will be the new home to 31 chronically homeless or formerly homeless individuals in Santa Barbara.

The grand opening will take place in June 2026!
